Big size and immaculate units with great attention to COVID related cleanliness and settee plus comfy beds, and the staff were excellent! The breakfast was included, that was a bonus. The setting was fantastic, very close to the surrounding area of Castleton, and hiking trails.

When we visit Castleton, like staying here. This lovely hotel offers a very lovely experience. There is a good choice of gorgeous food for breakfast.

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed being there. Overall the room was amazingly comfortable with comfortable beds and great attention to COVID related cleanliness. Shower facilities, a hairdryer, and bath sheets were available there.

The location was central, ideal to the hills of Mam Tor.

Incredibly beautiful hotel with very helpful personnel and absolutely stunning view to the hills of Mam Tor. Comfortable location so close to Mam Tor and great walking trails. Also, in a beautiful part of the country. A TV, facilities to make tea, and a coffeemaker available in the superior room. Good sleep in an extra large bed.

Well, it was a comfortable stay during holidays. The staff was amiable and the room was spotless with extremely comfy beds.

We had a very comfortable en-suite room with a nice view of the countryside. The owner, Alan, was an excellent and engaging host who provided useful local knowledge and recommendations. The room was gorgeous with a huge bathroom, comfortable bed, and spacious sofa. There were plenty of amenities like tea/coffee making facilities, wine glasses, and a bottle opener. Refillable toiletries and guide books were also available. The location in the middle of Castleton was perfect with lots of nice walks, pubs, and restaurants. We felt welcomed and accommodated by the owners who even offered transportation to the train station. We have already booked to return next year.

The location of the accommodation was central, making it convenient for exploring the beautiful hills of the Hope Valley, as well as being close to the centre of Castleton and the Peak District, with its hiking trails, shops. Our stay at the property met our expectations, and the staff were always willing to help out with anything we needed.
